my schedule seems to go like this.. school work break work school (adidas) work etc... hardly any sleep in between except for some lucky nights.
i wish it could be break break break school? break break break.. but i have bills..
seems like all the major bboys are 100% bboyin... soooooooooooooooo does it take giving everything up to be on top?
rank has only school and breakin on his mind and hes improving FAST.

I don't believe that you have to give up everything. i don't plan on giving up what im working for in school to break and be one of the "major bboys", you just have to learn how to integrate the two. its more about the years you put into breaking, Summer months are where you get to catch up, you can't bboy 24 hours out of the day anyways so you need to work work work break break work break etc...

Gato, you're one of my boys so know that when i say this, i say it outta love, but that's total bs...
NO major bboy is bboying 100% of the time. they're either busy workin, with school, with kids, finding a way to pay bills, injured, or some other combination of the sorts.
i'll give you a few examples:
Brave monk, man has a hundred and one projects, still finds time to practice on tues and thurs and dances i dunno how many other nights.
Virus and Jungle, have kids, and i know Jungle has school, they're working to pay bills and feed mouths.
CJ, injured and STILL breaking, MOG, breaking just got done with school and puts together BTL every year.
my point is, it's not a matter of how much time you spend bboying, it's what you do with the time. i think it's Bruce lee?? that said that life isn't about adding what's to your life but about cutting away the unnecessary. you gotta ask yourself what's important and how bad do you want it?
and sure don't get me wrong, there ARE ppl who break all the time but when life throws you for a loop you gotta be ready, breaking or otherwise so don't count yourself out because you find it hard to break for a few months. what vizion said is true, you can make it up at other times.
and when i mention the ppl above it's because they found a way to work around their schedule to get some training in, it didn't happen overnight.
so bro, don't overwhelm yourself now, get at me when you wanna find different practice methods i'll show you some techniques that are helping me with training. and it's not just me, i asked around, seeing what was helpful and experimenting to see what wasn't. i'll see you soon though bro so we'll talk later.
peace and nothin but love to ya homie.

Thanks for the back up Jet. To all young bboys breakers and any one aspiring to do anything, remember its about doing things well, putting in your best efforts, those are the times that will yield the best results. If you half ass it for 10 years you just wasted 5. Hope this helps inspire how you train and when you train!

Kid David said, "Its not what you do, its how you do it." I think he means bboys can do moves but its how they look when you do them is what matters. BUT you can interpret that as something else, Slim says its not what you practice its how you practice it. Haha. You just have to be smart about training, that way you aren't wasting your time. Also, I know this was a VERY late response.
