Here's a REALLY good stamina drill to work on.
Do a 6 step on beat for 30 seconds Rest 30 seconds Do a 6 step the other way for 30 seconds Rest 30 seconds 3 step for 30 Rest for 30 Other way for 30 Rest for 30 2 step for 30 Rest for 30 Other way for 30 rest for 30.
Ideally, this drill is based on the concept that a set is about 30 seconds in length. So if you can keep moving through the entire set, and then rest for 30 to let your opponent do his or her set, you can be refreshed and ready to throw down another 30 seconds of clean footowrk. I drill these because they are the basic foundation for my footwork, but you can really do anything as long as it's 30 seconds on, 30 seconds rest. But make sure you go both ways. Just with a 6, a 3, and a 2 step going both ways, that's technically 6 sets you just threw down.

well,
1. Stretching 2. Straight toprock practice on beat 3. transitions from toprock to downrock/footwork 4. footwork/downrock 5. only "power" move im working on atm: mills/backspins 6. attempt to combine toprock with downrock/footwork on beat
I tried the after-stretching and I've gotta say, its helped out so far with getting the "flow" with my legs
I might try that stamina drill too

Hahahahaha! No problem. I still can't stay on beat after the 1st 2 sets. But i'm getting cleaner and faster, so it's REALLY helping me.
A good power drill is the add on. So 1 mill, 1 flare, 2 mills, 2 flares, 3 mills..etc. That works for power transititions as well as practicing the moves themselves.

Fractured my big toe so all I can do right now are freezes. An hour of freezes is actually pretty fun.
