I was just checking out the PRACTICES thread and i realized something.
There are 5 known locations in this state where bboys come together to practice
Indianapolis
Bloomington
West Lafayete
Northwest, IN
Fortwayne
And yet there are only 10 active battlers in this state. What the hell? But then again, how many breakers are in the state of IL, and of them, how many of them actually battle? The same holds true with Dayton and Columbus, OH. So i guess in comparison to the other scenes....our scene is right where it needs to be. Referring to ratio of breakers to battlers.
Just an observation. What do you all think?

Yeah I think it has something to do with a certain percentage of bboys in a scene usually travel and battle.

hmmm well i found out there are more bboys in my area.. but they do it for show of purposes or just to nervous to battle

I don't think its a matter of being broke. Slim and I rarely have money to throw around but we are always managing to travel somewhere.
And I think its really unfair to us 10 very active bboys in the state to name this thread No Indiana Active Battlers, Rox why are all your thread topics sooooo negative?
Any who I feel its not about how many battlers you have but active bboys, as long as ppl are breaking in the state I really could careless if they are trying to go out of town to a Jam unless they are complaining about their current state in bboying and how they wish they were better. Then I would say to them why don't you start traveling and meeting ppl better than you so you can learn something.
Again its about being active and not just traveling, although i would like to at least hear from more ppl that we have met over the few years we have been breaking instead of constantly wondering if they are alive or still 'active'.
Indiana's goal should be get all 'active' bboys to all the Indiana jams in Indy. Indianapolis is an easy city to get to and not nearly as far away as Nashville ATL Milwaukee or St. Louis. So lets work on getting our own to their hometown events.

Yeah i hate it when indiana bboys dont go to indiana jams! why is that?!
I think the reason why many breakers dont travel is because they think theyre not in a good level. I've hear this excuse many times before.
anyways im always down to travel my problem is i got no crew to battle with. so if anybody ever need someone to battle with email me i got transportation.

Yo indiana jams always have wack judjes that's why....some one can do up rock and win against someone doing dope ass shit but because his foot hit the floor the up rocker wins...anyone can learn a foot work set in a week..but power tricks takes years...get da point
