Attempting to unite bboys/bgirls from Indiana and surrounding areas, feel free to use this thread to:
-Introduce yourself/crew -Represent your locale -Discuss your background -Give us a taste of your style
The key objective with this project is putting Indiana on the "bboy map". So help us familiarize ourselves with you and any other Indiana bboy/bgirls.

Rox-it and Stripes @ Outbreak 5
Rox-it (beatsickmisfits): Hey Stripes! How ya been man? Didn't even recognize you with your hair short
Stripes (Main Ingredients): Not much man. Nobody does. I work on a cruise ship and it gets hot as hell so i cut it all off. It was like wearing a hat 24/7. But at least i can do halos now! What crew are you from again?
Rox-it: beatsickmisfits outa Indiana.
Stripes: oh yeah. I heard about you guys. You were in the top 8 at bashville this year right?
Rox-it: yes. Yes we were.
..........................................................................
Point being: Indiana is on the map more than you think. Let's continue to make the scene known.

- Rox-it - beatsickmisfits - Bloomington, IN
- Started bboying in Oct. of 06 when i got to college.
- I have no idea how to explain my style...but it's musically inclined that's for sure. I'm searching to be an all-around-bboy. Not necessarily a foundation head, but i believe w/ foundation, creativity can be attained better. Outbreak 5 REALLY changed my view and beliefs on bboying so i'm currently "finding myself" yet again.

Peace,
This is an addition to the description of my style.(Since Roxit didn't feel what I responded with was a good enough answer.) In life I live by the Tao. One of the core principles of Taoism is everything is one. Another core principle is simplicity. Therefore EVERYTHING around me is my style and that is the most simplistic way for me to express life. Why disect it? Why try to make your own? Why struggle to be somethin that you are not? Accept life for what it is. That's the core of my foundation. Therefore its only natural to express my life through my dance. In all honesty, they are the same thing. So to label my style, I would not.. but if it was necessary for me to do for one to understand I would call it "Lifestyle". For what is in life is in my dance, because dance is my life. Its all one and its as simple as that.
In life you have rocks in a creek, heroin addicts in the ghetto, boats in the ocean, carwreck victims, assembly lines in factories, sports, movies, parties, highways, etc. Influences are all around you not just in dance. The true secret to creating your OWN style is to open your eyes to your OWN life. I can show you where I got each one of my moves or movements from and they all come from what I have seen or experienced in life. Lifestyle.
Peace, Coda Weaponz of Rhythm Universal Zulu Nation

Peace and Respect y'all
-The name i'm known under is Jet, but... what i'm also known as is Jethnam (pronounced Jetnam). -Chicago -Even though i'm from Chicago been breaking with Wrecking Crew (NWI) since Nov 09 -Been breaking since 04 -My style is my personality manifested into movement, whatever i'm feeling like that day of i'll do physically. Most of the time i'll be bouncy and acting a clown, sometimes i'll be smooth or serious and to the point, sometimes i'll be raw energy, sometimes i'll have no energy.
